Description

A selective, systemic herbicide for controlling annual and perennial grassy weeds in vegetables and fruits.

Properties and Features

A highly selective systemic herbicide that provides control of annual and perennial grassy weeds.

It is rapidly absorbed through the leaves within one hour of application, making it difficult for rain to wash it off.

This systemic herbicide is primarily translocated via the phloem to the weed's growth center, where it inhibits its growth.

It is highly selective, making it safe for application to various crops and safe for beneficial insects.

It is resistant to rapid photodegradation, which increases its persistence and effectiveness on the plant.

Mechanism of Action

Once the weeds absorb the spray solution at the recommended dosage, it is directly transported in the sap to the weed roots. There, it begins to interfere with the formation of vital enzymes needed by the weeds for metabolism. Over time, the weeds begin to yellow, followed by stunted leaf growth until the weeds die.

Application Rates

Adjust the pH of the spray solution with a sticking agent to increase effectiveness.

Ministry of Agriculture Recommendations

Crop Target Weeds Application Rate PHI

Sugar Beet Annual grassy weeds 200 cm³/feddan 70 days

Onion Seedlings Annual grassy weeds 200 cm³/feddan 90 days

Tomato Seedlings Annual grassy weeds 300 cm³/feddan 45 days

Potato Annual grassy weeds 200 cm³/feddan 45 days

Potato Annual and Perennial Grassy Weeds 400 cm³/acre 45 days

Application Method and Stage: Apply to annual grasses when they are in the 4-6 leaf stage and to perennial grasses when they are in the 10-15 leaf stage (when the grasses are actively growing). Apply as a general spray to the plants, ensuring good soil moisture to promote sap flow. Apply before the seed formation stage in the grasses, as this hinders sap flow, to achieve optimal results.

The stated rates are guidelines. Always use the product according to the approved label and the instructions of the Ministry of Agriculture, and adhere to the pre-harvest application period. For inquiries regarding the dosage for a specific crop, contact our engineers.
